Conference Scope

----------------

ROBOT'2019 - Fourth Iberian Robotics Conference will take place at 
Porto, Portugal, 20 - 22 November 2019, http://web.fe.up.pt/~robot2019/ 
and follows the three previous editions of the Iberian Robotics 
Conference held in Madrid in 2013, Lisbon 2015 and Seville 2017. 
Robot'2019 is Organized by: SPR – Sociedade Portuguesa de Robótica, 
SEIDROB – Sociedad Española para la Investigación y Desarrollo en Robótica.

ROBOT'2019 main goal is to continue the precedent efforts in showing the 
robotic research and development of new applications in the Iberian 
Peninsula. Although focused on the works developed at Iberia the 
conference is open for good quality submissions from any country in the 
world.

As in previous editions we plan to publish the conference proceedings 
with Springer - Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing Series, 
indexed by Thomson ISI Web of Knowledge and SCOPUS. Extended versions of 
the conference best papers will also be published in Special Issues from 
several top Journals.

We are hereby announcing the conference and distributing the call for 
special sessions. Please pass on the information and we hope to see you 
in Porto.

Paper Submission: June 21, 2019
Notification: July 22, 2019
Early Registration: September 6, 2019
Camera Ready: September 6, 2019
Conference: November 20-22, 2019

Proposal Submission
-------------------

Special Session proposal must be submitted electronically, at easychair 
following the link https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=robot2019. 
The proposal should contain the following information:

Title
   - Proposed Name of the session

Asbtract/Description
   - Brief description (one/two paragraphs) of the special session

Topics
   - List of the main topics covered by the special session

Organizers
   - Organizers of the session (Name, Affiliation, Country and Email)

Program Committee
   - Tentative Program Committee for the session (Name, Affiliation and 
Country)

Papers
   - If already available include the already contacted authors and 
titles for tentative papers for the session

All special sessions will be managed as conference tracks chaired by the 
session organizers, using the easychair conference management system of 
Robot 2019 at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=robot2019
