Dear Colleague,
After the great success of the previous CONTROLO conferences,
it is our great pleasure to invite you to the "14th APCA
International Conference on Automatic Control and Soft
Computing", CONTROLO2020 to be held in Bragança - Portugal,
between the 1st to 3rd of July 2020. The conference is
organized by the School of Technology and Management of
the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (ESTiG-IPB) and the
University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD) under the
sponsorship of the Portuguese Association of Automatic
Control (APCA) and directly sponsored by the International
Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC).

The main goal is to promote scientific information interchange
in the fields of Automatic Control and Soft-Computing applied
to control problems. The event will provide a forum to present
the latest research results and experiences and also informal
networking to discuss the current status and future trends in
the fields of control technology and soft-computing science.

the 2020 CONTROLO Conference.
Prof. André J. Preumont
Emeritus Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics and Director 
of the Active Structures Laboratory at the Université Libre of Bruxelles 
(Belgium). Author of several books on Vibration Control.
Prof. Eduardo F. Camacho
Professor of Engineering of Systems and Automatics at Escuela Superior 
de Ingenieros in Sevilla (Spain). Author of several books on Model 
Predictive Control.
Prof. Karl H. Johansson
Director of the Stockholm Strategic Research Area and Professor at the 
School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, KTH Royal 
Institute of Technology (Sweden)
Prof. Kevin M. Passino
Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Ohio State 
University (USA). Author of several books on Biomimicry and Adaptive 
Control.
Prof. Sebastián Dormido
Emeritus Professor at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia 
– UNED, ES. Former president of the Spanish Association of Automatic 
Control.

- April 01, 2020 - Acceptance / Rejection Letters
- April 15, 2020 - Final Paper Submission / Early Registration
- April 15, 2020 - Camera Ready
- May  02, 2020 - Registration (limit)
- July 01-03, 2020 - Conference will be held

Call for Papers:
Authors are kindly invited to submit papers related to the
conference topics. More information can be found on

Paper submission:
Papers submitted to the contributed sessions will be reviewed
by the conference Scientific committee. The paper-review process
will be carried out online, via the Conference web page. At least
two reviewers will evaluate each contribution. From all received
full papers, the Scientific Committee will select the most relevant
ones.

Indexing:
The proceedings of the conference will be published in the Springer
Lecture Notes on Electrical Engineering indexed by:
