Dear colleague We would like to inform you that the paper submission 
deadline for the IEEE International Conference on Autonomous Robot 
Systems and Competitions (ICARSC 2024) has been extended to *February 
24, 2024 (hard deadline)*. We look forward to receiving your submission 
and welcoming you in Paredes de Coura, Portugal for ICARSC 2024 from 2-3 
May, 2024. You can find details of the Call for Papers below and at

We are pleased to inform you that ICARSC 2024 24thIEEE International 
Conference on Autonomous Robot Systems and Competitions will be held in 
Paredes de Coura, Portugal, on May 2-3, 2024. The conference is 
organized within ROBOTICA 2024 – 24thPortuguese Robotics Open, a 
RoboCup-sponsored local event, and it is promoted by the University of 
Porto, University of Minho, Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, 
University of Coimbra, University of Aveiro, Institute of Systems and 
Robotics (University of Coimbra) and the Portuguese Robotics Society.

Conference Scope

ICARSC gathers participants from academia and industry working in the 
field of autonomous robotics and related areas. ICARSC is a 
well-established IEEE conference that has been growing continuously for 
over a decade and is nowadays a truly international forum attracting 
worldwide quality research papers.


ICARSC has long been an IEEE co-sponsored event and its proceedings will 
be indexed in IEEExplore and Scopus. Moreover, similarly to previous 
editions, extended versions of selected best papers will be invited for 
publication in relevant indexed journals.

Paper Submission

----------------


Authors are invited to submit original research contributions in 
English. Six pages in the standard IEEE format 
(http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html) 
are allowed for each paper, including tables and figures. Full draft 
papers should be submitted electronically, in PDF format, using the URL: 
https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icarsc2024 
<https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icarsc2024>. For evaluation, 
authors must remove their names from the submitted papers, and should 
take reasonable care not to indirectly disclose their identity. Accepted 
papers will be scheduled for presentation, which requires that at least 
one of the authors should register at the Conference and present the 
paper. If the authors of an accepted paper, either for oral presentation 
or poster, do not show up at the conference, the corresponding paper 
will not be submitted to IEEExplore.


A selection of the presented papers will be invited to propose extended 
versions for a special issue of a Journal as in previous editions.
