Dear colleague

We are pleased to inform you that ROBOT 2025 8th IEEE(*) Iberian 
Robotics Conference will be held in Porto, Portugal, on November 12-14, 
2025. The conference is promoted by Universidade do Porto, Instituto 
Superior de Engenharia do Porto, Instituto Politécnico de Bragança and 
the SPR - Portuguese Society of Robotics and SEIDROB - Sociedad Española 
para la Investigación y Desarrollo en Robótica.

Conference Scope
----------------

We invite authors to submit original contributions across all robotics 
domains, covering industrial robots, autonomous systems, educational 
robotics, and field and service robots. The conference will address 
modeling and simulation techniques, design methodologies, and practical 
applications of developed robotic systems. Additionally, we welcome 
submissions on AI techniques, computer vision and image processing, 
tactile and haptic devices, control algorithms and architectures, 
localization, mapping, navigation, and associated economic, ethical, 
legal, and social considerations. Moreover, the exploration of 
human-robot interaction, which encompasses personal and social robots, 
medical robots, and exoskeletons, representing an increasingly active 
and crucial area are also welcomed.

Paper Submission
----------------

Authors are invited to submit original research contributions in 
English. Six pages in the standard IEEE format 
(http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html) 
are allowed for each paper, including tables and figures. Full draft 
papers should be submitted electronically, in PDF format, using the URL: 
https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=robot2025. For evaluation, 
authors must remove their names from the submitted papers, and should 
take reasonable care not to indirectly disclose their identity.

Papers submitted for review that fall into the category of review papers 
will not be considered during the evaluation process, ensuring that the 
assessment is focused on original research contributions.
Accepted papers will be scheduled for presentation, which requires that 
at least one of the authors should register at the Conference and 
present the paper. If the authors of an accepted paper, either for oral 
presentation or poster, do not show up at the conference, the 
corresponding paper will not be submitted to IEEExplore.
