<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body style="overflow-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;"><p><b><font color="#0096ff"><span lang="PT">DEEC-JD8<br>Searching extremely high potential young PhD holders for tenure-track Faculty Positions<br>Call for proposals</span></font></b></p><p><span lang="PT">The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (<a href="https://deec.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/" moz-do-not-send="true">DEEC</a>) of Técnico Lisboa (IST), University of Lisbon (<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="http://www.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/" moz-do-not-send="true">www.tecnico.ulisboa.pt</a>), is looking for extremely high potential young scientists, holding a PhD degree, to possibly become a tenure track Assistant Professor in the area of Electrical and Computer Engineering.<br></span></p><p><span lang="PT"><b>Requirements and desired skills:</b><br>Prospective candidates must have earned a doctoral degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related area. A strong research track record and University-level teaching experience are preferential qualifications. The ability to foster an inspiring working environment and set up a network of scientific collaborations within and outside the university is highly valuable. A strong motivation to implement their own vision and setting up their own (externally funded) research program is also required.
