*Job Description*
Do you want to develop control algorithms for exoskeleton-based gait
rehabilitation?
Do you want to contact with stroke patients and develop AI algorithms
for post-stroke gait analysis?
We are offering a post-docposition to work on these topics in SmartOs
project with an extraordinary working environment.
SmartOs (http://birdlab.dei.uminho.pt/smartos/)Â proposes an innovative
assist-as-need personalizedrobotic technology to be combined with a
toxin-based intervention to enhance the treatment of stroke survivors
with spastic gait by providing an objective assessment and personalized
treatment according to the users’ motor intention and needs. To achieve
this ultimate goal, SmartOsincludes a smart, wearable lower limb
orthosis to act as a personalized technological solution for the
robotics-based gait training of stroke survivors. The Active Orthosis is
synergistically interconnected with a Wearable Motion Lab that is able
to collect multimodal sensor information that will quantify
in real-time patient's motor condition and the human-orthosis interaction.
*The Biomedical Robotic Devices Lab (Department of Industrial
Electronics, University of Minho) is seeking for one outstanding
postdoctoral fellow to work on SmartOs national project.*
